Mulberry Creative Co. Brand Designer Brand Shoot
When Meghan and I connected I felt elated. Her work as a brand designer is absolutely phenomenal, she's established and understands her own brand, and knew why and what she needed pictures for. Coming alongside her creatively brought me so much artistic joy this year.
We dived in through several in-depth preshoot phone calls, to help me get to know the ins and outs of her brand and how I could best serve her. And we rescheduled several times due to life and weather. The end results were WELL worth all of the time and effort. One of the key takeaways I have learned in brand photography is to take the time to DO your research and get to know your clients, and NOT rush the process for optimal results.
She needed photos for her website filled with her own branding and story, rather than just using stock images that fit her aesthetic. As a creative, we so often work on our own businesses last while we are busy working for others, so she also just needed an arsenal of on-brand social media content that could capture her story and relate to her ideal client.
We shot in their farmhouse they've spent the last year plus renovating (and it looks AMAZING!). It not only so perfectly pulled in the more personal, brand story shots she needed, but the airy, fresh lighting worked seamlessly with her brand vibe.
We changed outfits frequently during our half day shoot. We shot as the light lead us to best optimize the different rooms in the house as the light changed (the kitchen was my favorite spot! And we pulled her boys in on a few sweet personal shots to capture their real homeschooling family life. If you're local to Fort Benning or Columbus, Georgia and need an experienced and talented brand designer--Meghan is your girl!
